Starting from the references of Josephine Baker and Man Ray, a story and a visual imaginary was created through them.

"Josephine was born in cloud cuckoo land, where, like all Donna Angelicata, her identity was strongly tied to a strict, idealized image of what was right and wrong. But Josephine knew deep down that these ideals did not define her and were as fragile as they were perverse. These thoughts made her an outcast, invisible in the eyes of the rest. Desperate and bewildered by the situation, the protagonist begins a dramatic process of metamorphosis in order to unmask her true identity. After going through several stages of transformation, Josephine is reborn as a femme fatale."
