"Design for All" is a proposal that focuses on individuals who are blind. The goal is to enhance the experience of shopping for clothes, questioning why only the privileged should enjoy this experience and aiming to provide more independence.
As a result, I developed a proposal to enhance the experience for these users. This involves hybridizing posters and QR codes, all in braille. At the store entrance, they would be offered a sheet with a map and text indicating the services available inside. Directional tactile pavement markers would guide them during their visit. Within each section, there would be posters on every shelf indicating the types of clothing available. The label of each garment would feature a QR code (in braille) redirecting them to Zara's website, where they could find a more detailed description read aloud by their phone.
To conclude, I created a brochure that compiles all the information to present the project. Ideally, further investigation and direct interaction with users would have been beneficial, allowing them to experience and provide feedback on the prototypes created.
